Abstract

The paper shows how it is possible to determine direction (motion path) of optimum power state on the basis of analysis of power transmission cost dependences in the function of relative load losses in the network. Quantitative criteria making possible to move purposefully in the zone of economically justified loss rates are proposed in the paper. Structural algorithm for determination of optimum values of discrete parameters of networks that make actual electric power loss rates very close to optimum ones have been developed and realized.

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to investigate a load curve unbalance factor which is an integrated indicator of electric energy consumption character in 0.4 kV electric networks. It is shown that the application of the obtained load curve unbalance factor in respect of the Armenian 0.4 kV electric networks as a whole causes a miscalculation up to 4.4 % of the total calculated technical losses in these networks. The paper contains an economic justification of expediency to carry out additional measurements at 1,200 head sections of three-phase electricity supply 0.4 kV main lines inArmenia.

Abstract

The paper considers problems of matching irreversible multi-polar circuits loaded to active multi-polar devices because power to be transmitted is maximal under such conditions. In this case we firstly determine a multi-polar equivalent for a circuit with active elements and then the obtained relations are estimated. The proposed algorithm for calculating electric circuits with active multi-polar devices is illustrated on some examples.

Abstract

Investigation of a nontransformer stepping-up converter of dc voltage has been carried out. A non-linear structural circuit of the converter has been developed with the help of the controlled current injection method. A linearization of an object and an automation control system synthesis have been conducted applying method of successive optimization of the circuits. The paper contains results of transient process simulation in the linear computer model and in the power electronics computer model.

Abstract

The paper considers a mathematical model of two circle circuit system as the basis of parametric calculation of three-dimensional data input “Vector” device. Two main approaches to the conclusion of the expression are given and substantiated in the paper. This conclusion interrelates mutual inductance of circuits and their parameters. The obtained tables of dependences pertaining to the mathematical model of two circuit system interaction make it possible to carry out optimization of three-dimensional data input device parameters.

Abstract

A «brush-commutator» contact is one of the factor that affects commutative properties and commutation. The paper presents a new method for estimation of a commutation. It is based not on the researchers’ experience but on the corresponding indicated values of a computer optoelectronic sparking analyzer. This analyzer permits to identify specific commutator sectors and its circuits at an inequality angle of every individual sector, rotation rate, time selection of measuring cycle, sparking estimation of separate commutator sectors and every sector of subsequent measuring cycle.

Abstract
The paper proposes a method for model development of power consumption modes at oil pipeline part that makes it possible to reduce uncertainty in behaviour of electric power consumption due to application of a sliding average. In order to estimate economy in electric power as a result of power saving measures in the technological process of oil transportation an expediency is proved to select an averaging period which is equal to 30 days.

Abstract

The results of feasibility study are given in respect of heat generating plant (co-generating plant) capacity selection on the basis of Gas-Piston Unit for a specific heating boiler house of UE «Minskkommyteploset» in the paper.

Keeping in mind the current situation at the power supply market in theRepublicofBelarusthe most profitable for heat supply enterprises are the variants with application of plants having heating capacity that corresponds to the base load of Hot Water Supply system or having electric power that covers boiler house auxiliaries.

The paper shows an advantage to utilize secondary power resources (lignin, wastes of fine coal with its dressing, sawdust) in mixture with local types of fuel (peat) in order to fulfill power supply purpose, namely: obtaining hot water in boilers of small capacity and obtaining household fuel.

Abstract

The paper describes a method and presents nomographs for determination of power-efficiency of oil pipeline operation in the case of transition from one pipeline system configuration to another one. This method is based on the usage of new configuration characteristics of a linear part of multi-line oil pipeline. It allows to analyze only the changed part of the pipeline system. The proposed configuration characteristics are based on recalculation of the length of input/output pipeline with specific diameter to the similar length of the pipeline with a conventional diameter and it is numerically equal to an extent of a laid pipeline with a conventional diameter from an initial time moment t0 to a time moment t.
