GENERAL POWER ENGINEERING

5-15 396
Abstract

The paper considers methodological principles of optimum planning of running repair switchings-off of power system equipment. Strategy concerning the decision of the problem under modern operational conditions and influential factors are given and determined in the paper. The paper also considers some peculiar features of the requirements which are to be formalized on the basis of informational technologies.

ELECTRICAL POWER ENGINEERING

16-20 1382
Abstract

The paper considers calculation method for operational, U-type and angular characteristics of asynchronous motor using personal computer. This method is based on its vector diagram. The paper contains algorithms, block diagram and calculations of characteristics of a concrete asynchronous motor which practically do not differ from the results obtained on the basis of well-known calculative methods.

Abstract

The paper considers a magnetic field of synchronous machine armature which has an inductor with tangentially magnetized magnets. Equations of inductive impedance of mutual induction for longitudinal and lateral axes have been obtained. The paper reveals that permeance of armature and inductor scattering exerts a significant influence on these values.

Abstract

The paper considers a model of «ТПН-АД» system which is controlled by non-current pause angle. It has been shown that thyristor voltage transducer being used in this case as an element of automation control system may be represented by an aperiodic element of the 1-st power. Its gain factor may be determined in accordance with the statistical characteristics of the thyristor voltage transducer itself.

НEAT POWER ENGINEERING

34-39 505
Abstract

Some data on technical characteristics and running-in of the steam and gas unit at the Orsha Thermal Power Station are given in the paper. The paper contains results of the regime optimization and research in respect of higher operational efficiency of steam and gas unit under partial thermal loadings.

40-45 350
Abstract

The paper represents continuation of investigations in respect of peculiar features of self- compensating pipe-lines of heating systems. It has been shown that application of prevoltage of such pipe-line affects its design and operational resource.

46-57 380
Abstract

The paper gives an example of thermal calculation of oil-gas burner for two-stage burning of natural gas.

57-62 595
Abstract

The paper contains experimental data on thermal conductivity of mixed aqueous solutions of salts within the temperature range from 20 to 300 °C and with various electrolyte concentrations in mass percentage. Thermal conductivity of H20-NaCl-CaCl2-KCl system at high temperatures has been studied for the first time. The experimental results of the present investigations have been generalized within the relative coordinates, namely: λ/λ0 and T/T0, (Т0 = 293,15 К; λ0 - thermal conductivity of a solution at T0 temperature). An empirical equation of thermal conductivity in the parabolic form has been obtained.

Abstract

The paper contains the formulation and solution of the problem of dynamic thermoelasticity with due account of final heat velocity in material. On the basis of the obtained calculated expressions for determination of temperature stresses an influence of final heat velocity on thermally stressed state of material under various types of heat loading has been analyzed in the paper.

HYDRAULIC POWER ENGINEERING

Abstract

The paper reveals methodology for calculation of power which is necessary for destruction of contamination deposits which are accumulated in the pores of gravelling and in a filter of a water well.

Frame and rod filter with wire coiling has been studied when it was subjected to pressure impulse of underwater explosion of 2H2 + 02 gaseous mixture.

An equation on balancing the power which goes to deform the wire coiling and destruction of contamination deposits has been formed. An example of calculation of the required power consumption is given in the paper.
