Abstract

An algorithm for evaluation of due half-hour consumer capacity has been developed using probabilistic and statistical method on the basis of the statistical information on electrical energy consumption with preliminary control of input information. The algorithm can be software implemented and used while determining values of the stated half-hour capacity at industrial enterprises carrying out calculation of electric power according to double-rate tariff.

Abstract

The paper presents technological concept substantiation of duplicate measurements which is based on the account of apriori information on measured variable and aposteriori information pertaining to the value of measurement imbalance. Decision-making boundaries in respect of truth have been determined in the paper and when there is bound violation it is necessary to substitute an averaged variable value with its more probable one.

Abstract

The developed automatic distance monitoring system of contact connections in high voltage equipment is based on technology of sensor circuits. The paper shows application of control methodology for contact connections in accordance with time rate of conductor temperature changes and contact connection and also direct measurement of transient resistance.

Abstract

The paper presents a conclusion of a mathematical model pertaining to asynchronous motor with embedded combined braking device on the basis of electromechanical brake and electromagnetic slip coupling. The mathematical model has been obtained in an orthogonal coordinate system a, b, which is fixed with respect to the asymmetric part of the asynchronous motor with embedded combined braking device. The model makes it possible to investigate transient processes in various asynchronous motors with embedded braking devices.

Abstract

The current reconstruction of residential areas in large cities especially with the developed heat-supply systems from thermal power stations and reduction of heat consumption for heating due to higher thermal resistance of building enclosing structures requires new technical solutions in respect of gas-supply problems. While making reconstruction of a gas-supply system of the modernized or new buildings in the operating zone of one gas-distribution plant it is necessary to change hot water-supply systems from gas direct-flow water heaters to centralized heat-supply and free gas volumes are to be used for other needs or gas-supply of new buildings with the current external gas distribution network.

Selection of additional gas-line sections and points of gas-supply systems pertaining to new and reconstructed buildings for their connection to the current distribution system of gas-supply is to be executed in accordance with the presented methodology.

Abstract

Data on complex experimental and theoretical investigations pertaining to efficiency of oxygen-enriched draft in the small-capacity heating boilers as exemplified by the plant HEIZA (HW-S-10/K) have been presented in the paper. The paper provides a calculation model of heating processes in heat generator burner (as exemplified by HEIZA plant). Simulation of heating processes in the operational zone has been executed in paper. The experimental data have proved model adequacy. The calculation scheme of the plant will be used in future for determination of power and ecological efficiency of draft enrichment with oxygen.

Abstract

The paper contains a parametric analysis of the simplest scheme of a steam-and gas plant for the conditions required for biomass burning. It has been shown that application of gas-turbine and steam-and-gas plants can significantly exceed an efficiency of steam-power supply units which are used at the present moment. Optimum thermo-dynamical conditions for application of steam-and gas plants with the purpose to burn biomass require new technological solutions in the field of heat-exchange equipment designs.

Abstract

The paper presents an accurate solution of an equation system: a generalized equation of kinetics and law of matter transfer describing kinetics of colmatant solution in the regime of a reactant bath in pre-well zone and due account of changes in structure of porous medium.

The calculations have demonstrated that due to shortage of one reactant portion for complete solution of deposits within one stage it is necessary to carry out a number of processing stages. In this connection the paper proposes a methodology for stage-by-stage calculation of complete regeneration longevity up to reaching the required decolmatation rate. The methodology has been realized with the help of ECM.

The paper considers a numerical example for calculation of changes in specific volume of deposits in the regeneration process.
