Abstract
The paper considers a new algorithm for formation of orthogonal components of input values in microprocessor relay protection of power lines in distribution networks. Results of the executed investigations have been given in the paper and they reveal high efficiency of the proposed algorithm and a principle possibility of its use in microprocessor relay protection of distribution networks.

The paper proposes an original method for pulse-width modulation (PWM) of A.C. voltage. The method makes it possible to improve harmonic composition of the voltage. Abstract
Numerical investigations of temperature fields in the apartments of a multi-dwelling building has been carried out on the basis of the developed mathematical model and algorithm of its realization. The investigations have made it possible to evaluate dynamics of changes in air temperature under unsteady conditions due to increase or reduction heating device capacity with regard to standardized values. The calculation results have demonstrated that a permissible period for capacity change accounts for not more than 6 hours. At the same time the rate of capacity change is up to 40 %. The obtained results can be practically used in the intelligent heating supply systems with the purpose to minimize consumption of fuel and power resources

Abstract
The paper presents a scheme and description of a new aerodynamic stand that has a 300x300 mm cross-section operating channel. The stand is used for studying thermal and aerodynamic characteristics of bundles made of finned tubes of actual dimensions in crossflow. The paper provides results of an exploratory test pertaining to heat transfer and resistance of four row staggered bundle made of tubes with aluminium spiral fins having outside diameter of 26 mm which are used in the systems of ventilation, air-conditioning and heating of buildings and also in transport heat exchangers.

Abstract
The paper analyzes an operation of the standard three-impulse automatic control system (ACS) for steam generator water supply. Mathematical model for checking its operational ability on load relief has been developed in the paper and this model makes it possible to determine maximum deviations of water level without execution of actual tests and any corrections in the plants for starting-up of technological protection systems in accordance with water level in the drum. The paper reveals reasons of static regulation errors while solving problems of internal and external distortions caused by expenditure of over-heated steam in the standard automatic control system. An actual significance of modernization pertaining to automatic control system for steam generator water supply has been substantiated in the paper.

Abstract
The paper investigates an influence of diffusion processes of Brown magnetic particles in magnetic liquid on the forces that operate in the volume of liquid being in an external non-uniform magnetic field. It has been shown that due to processes of mass transfer leading to redistribution of particles’ concentration static distribution of pressure in the liquid can undergo considerable changes in the course of time and change conditions of its balance.

Abstract
Processes of wastewater clearing by adsorbents activated by electrical discharge effect are investigated. It is shown that activation of single-phase zeolite by the electrical discharge of torch type considerably increases efficiency of waste-water adsorption clearing.

Abstract
The paper presents an operational mode of the combined technology pertaining to preparation of partially softened water used for thermal networks and deeply softened make-up water for installation of a reverse osmosis with H- and Na-cation exchange. Depending on ionic composition of initial water and a consumption ratio of water fed to a thermal network and a consumption of make-up water which is fed to an installation of the reverse osmosis calculation formulas for regenerations of H- and Na-of ions in the cation-exchange filters have been given in the paper.
