Abstract

The paper presents methodology and results of the investigations pertaining to study of influence of short-circuited turns on transient electrical processes in electric motor windings. Dependence of their damped speed and value of the difference signal, obtained at reciprocal subtraction of damped oscillation curves in absence and in presence of short-circuited turns, on number of turns in the tested windings. It has been determined that damped oscillation curves, immediately attributed to short-circuited turns, have peak values along temporary axis which are areas of the largest transient process sensitivity to КЗ turns.

Methodology for diagnostics of single- and three-phase electric motor windings and also other electric equipment, being realized in DO-1 device, has been developed in the paper. The mentioned device makes it possible to carry out visual comparison and quantitative analysis of damped oscillation curves in the tested windings with standard ones which are set in the device memory and their difference signals.

Abstract
The paper reveals the conditions which are to be met by parameters of micro-controller accuracy and speed (a number of discharges in data word, clock frequency of a timer) and number of pulses per transducer revolution that ensure the required accuracy of the system to control position and speed. In this case measuring time is taken into account which is permissible in accordance with the conditions of stability margin preservation

Abstract

Object of the investigation is control systems of high-voltage synchronous motors which are applied at industrial enterprises with continuous technological process.

A mathematical model for the run-out of generalized assembly including a motor and a mechanism has been developed. Analytical relations between power failure time of electromotive load node and dynamic characteristics of high voltage synchronous motor run-out have been obtained. The method for fast acting synchronous motor self-start has been developed, that provides for determining an optimum time of tuming-on stand-by power for a group of electric motors, taking into account the measured value of an initial angular acceleration for a group run-out.

Abstract
A complex of problems pertaining to environment pollution, while utilizing fuel in industrially-developed countries and in the Ukraine, is considered with due account of regional peculiarities and a pattern of the industrial production. The world balance of hydrocarbon fuel output and its utilization from energy-ecology position are analyzed. Nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), non-bumt hydrocarbons (UHC), including poly-aromatic ones (PAH), volatile organic compounds (VOC) and the smoke with the particles of size lower than 10 μm (PM 10) are considered as pollutants of hydrocarbon fuel combustion processes and their concentration is regulated by standards. National and international norms of hazardous effluents are adduced and discussed.

Abstract

The paper proposes a fundamentally new modification of cast iron recuperative heat exchanger assembled on the basis of the following modules: «Silal» M-I 115x460x860-05 and «Silal» M-II 230x460x860-1.0.

It is shown that such recuperative heat exchanger does not have the disadvantages which are inherent to presently applied recuperators.

Abstract

A method for factor analysis of heat supply system operational efficiency. Calculative formulae for organizing planning and control over execution of measures directed on utilization of fuel saving reserves have been developed in the paper. A method for calculating cooling of the water in a heat supply system is proposed as an indirect variant for estimation of report index accuracy in heat losses through heat supply system insulation. This method is recommended for developing algorithms and programming calculations for organization of the corresponding analysis under operational conditions.

Abstract

The paper contains a methodology of building an analytical model for an ST-35-90/10 extraction turbine with two regulated extractions at the Vitebsk Thermal Power Station. This methodology makes it possible to decrease the time for mode calculation. The obtained characteristic can be used for solution of optimization problems.

Abstract
Air-fuel mixtures of various composition, using hydrogen, have been investigated in the paper. The paper shows dependences of the investigated mixtures’ combustion duration on an initial pressure and a coefficient of oxidizer (air) excess. While adding hydrogen an analysis of mixture burning speed influence on the combustion process in the modeling chamber of internal combustion engine has been carried in the paper. The paper reveals combustion peculiarities while applying hydrogen in the area of poor mixtures.
