Abstract

Modified method for a simplified calculation of a maximum wire tension in case of a short circuit. This method makes it possible to take into account a real trajectory of their movement and elements of a switch-gear. An accuracy evaluation of the simplified calculation has been done with the help of a calculative experiment using a BusEf computer software. A correction factor has been obtained to take into account an influence of insulator strings on a tension value.

Abstract
Experiments have revealed that demagnetization quality of ferromagnetic bodies depends on characteristics of demagnetizing field that are determined by their size and internal properties. Every ferromagnetic body with a specific size and internal properties has its frequency and time period of demagnetization when a residual demagnetization will be a minimum one.

Abstract

The paper gives description of a method for modeling electric power consumption by industrial enterprises with a complicated technological process that differs in accounting parameters of power consumption distribution laws and volume of output. The proposed method permits reliably to evaluate specific technological consumption of electric power and a direct component of electric power consumption.

Abstract

A mathematical model for non-stationary heat conduction of multi-layer bodies has been developed. Dirac’s δ-function is used to take into account phase and chemical transformations in one of the wall layers. While formulating a problem non-linear heat conduction equations have been used with due account of dependence of thermal and physical characteristics on temperature. Solution of the problem is realized with the help of methods of a numerical experiment and computer modeling.

Abstract

The paper considers two most characteristic models of heat exchange mechanisms in heaters with due account of environmental heat losses. As a result of executed investigations a list of corresponding engineering formulae has been developed which can be used for determination of heat engineering characteristics of heat exchangers and calculation of heating modes of their operation.

Authors of the paper have elaborated a special «Heat Exchanger» programming file that corroborates reliability of the executed analysis and makes it possible to carry out a number of the required calculations.

Abstract
The paper proposes a thermal and physical model for heat exchange processes with developed nucleate boiling on the developed surfaces (tenons) with various contours of heat transfer surface. Dependences for calculating convective heat exchange factor have been obtained on the basis of modeling representation. Investigations have shown that an intensity of convective heat exchange does not depend on tenon profile when boiling takes place on the tenons. The intensity is determined by operating conditions, thermal and physical properties of liquid, internal characteristics of boiling processes and geometrical characteristics of a tenon.

Abstract
The paper provides some changes and additions to the known method for controlling reliability and refining the initial information in case of its automatic processing at the expense of usage of additional information which is contained in the equations of material and power balances, other dependences. An application of the modified control method makes it possible significantly to expand field of its application. Calculations for evaluation of the given method efficiency have been carried out in the paper.

Abstract

The given paper proposes a methodology for theoretical calculation of acid reagent expenditure for dissolution of contaminative deposit of a unit mass having a known chemical composition.

The methodology is based on the balance of substances in chemical reactions and interactions between hydrochloric acid and deposit components.
