Presents investigations on blocking algorithm for transformer current protections during magnetizing inrush current. The investigations have shown that the algorithm has high sensitivity and reliably determines magnetizing inrush current modes.
The paper considers basic concepts in the design of modern wind energy conversion systems (WECS). The analysis of control methods and systems which are capable to realize operational mode with maximum output power has been presented in the paper. Functional diagrams of systems for different electric generators, mechanical gears and various combinations of electric power supply and control systems have been have been given in the paper. WECS structures that meet the operational requirements in Belarus have been determined in the paper.
Reliability of distributive systems for electric supply of consumers is considered as a multi-criteria function. For this reason while developing an algorithm for determination of optimum reliability level of distributive networks it is necessary to take into account probability character of changes in corresponding indices. A mathematical model and algorithm have been developed for determination of optimum reliability level of electric supply systems with due account of probability changes in reliability indices of component elements.

The paper proposes a vortex heat generator with energy transformation of the highest state of matter motion into the lowest one as a heat supply source for a mobile object. Energy transformation coefficient indices close or equal to 1 have been obtained as a result of experiments on efficiency of the vortex heat generator. Such results can be explained with the help of the 2nd Bohr quantum postulate.
Standard series of certified VTG heat generators has been proposed for heat supply of the mobile object (field hospital).
