Показана возможность применения равновесной термодинамики. Установлено, что во время окислительного рафинирования концентрация FeO в шлаке практически не зависит от концентрации С в металле. Показано, что окисление углерода металла в ряде случаев характеризуется наличием инерционного периода, что может быть связано с незавершившимся процессом шлакообразования.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The equilibrium between carbon and oxygen has been investigated during oxidizing refining in an arc steel-melting furnace. It is shown that there is a possibility to apply an equilibrium thermodynamic. It has been established that during oxidizing refining FeO concentration in slag practically does not depend on C concentration in metal. It is demonstrated that in a number of cases metal carbon oxidation is characterized by the presence of a transit period that may be attributed to incomplete slag-formation process.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Кожеуров, В.
